Our Story

When it is destiny, God will always find a way to connect people, even when they are countries apart, and we are truly grateful that this has happened to us.

Through a mutual friend, we met each other and were mesmerized by one another’s presence. When we went separately back into our own lives, everything felt extremely lonely and unsatisfying. How had we lived apart from one another until then? We knew we had to be together. Some force so powerful and beautiful was pulling us toward each other.

This feeling led to a long-distance relationship in which both of us took a leap of faith, driven by genuine love, respect, and communication.

Every day, we spent at least one hour fully engaged in getting to know each other’s lives, thoughts, and emotions. In many ways, we connected more deeply and more meaningfully than in any other physical relationship we had experienced.

We envisioned our lives and our future together, and we decided it was time to be together. Maria moved to Amsterdam, and we began living together.

During this period—while finishing our studies and working—we were fortunate to travel together to many beautiful places. Among them all, Annecy holds a very special and romantic place in our hearts. It was there that I proposed, and Maria-Regina said yes to becoming my wife.

We are now spiritually, emotionally, and physically connected, and we wish to marry on the 21st of August, 2026, in front of our friends, family, and God Almighty.
